225+ Citywide Venues
Most Events are FREE!
As the Design Capital of the United States, New York City is home to over 40,000 active designers, many of whom participate in the two-week annual celebration of the artform that is NYCxDESIGN. Created to honor design's rightful role in the arts, the citywide festival is open to local and international designers eager to collaborate with others in the field, to display their work before appreciative audiences, and market it to interested buyers. In 2015, NYCxDESIGN was host to more than 500 events in a total of 228 venues across all five boroughs of the city.
Two Weeks of Pop-Up Galleries & Exhibits
By no means just for designers, NYCxDESIGN is an art-lover's dream. Think of it as a city-spanning collection of pop-up galleries, fleeting exhibits, rare open studios, striking installations, and industry trade shows. If you're at all passionate about architecture, graphic design, urban development, furniture, fashion, or landscaping, there's sure to be something you'll love every day of the festival. Just consult the NYCxDESIGN website for a comprehensive schedule of what's happening where and when.
