Eat, Drink, Rock & Roll at Governor's Ball Music Festival 2016

The Three-Day Party of Governor's Ball Music Festival 2016

June 3rd-5th

Randall's Island Park

3-Day Admission:

Since 2011, the city's biggest music festival has been transforming the small, lesser known islands of NYC into beacons of cool, with megastar headliners, award-winning food, and more craft beer and artsy cocktails than you can shake a shaker at. With the Governor's Ball Music Festival, New York City has its own annual pop party for 150,000+ fans to look to forward to all year - on par with events like Coachella, South by Southwest, and Bonnaroo. Borrowing its name from its first home on Governor's Island, this year's festivities unfurl on Randall's Island, a sleepy stretch between Manhattan, Queens, and The Bronx - just 40 minutes from our hotel.

An Unbelievable Lineup of Stars

It's Also a New York City Food Fest…

Many don't realize just how much incredible food there is at Governor's Ball. In fact, nearly as much goes into curating the lip-smacking assortment of NYC eateries as it takes to devise each day's set, and there's pretty much a restaurant, food truck or cart for every act that takes the stage. Here are a few of our faves:

  • Café Habana - Heartfelt, homecooked Cuban eats.
  • Luke's Lobster - Refreshingly scrumptious rolls, straight from Maine.
  • Coolhaus - Ice cream sandwich art.
  • Streetbird Rotisserie - Finger-licking bird from Marcus Samuelsson of the Food Network.
  • Spaghetti Incident - Noodles in a cone!
