Governor’s Ball – The Only-in-NYC Music Festival
Randall’s Island Park
Only in New York City do legendary performers like Kanye West, Beck, Death Cab for Cutie, recently reunited rockers The Strokes, and 70+ more marquee acts come together for the same music festival. In NYC, it’s a common sight to stars in the street, but never as many on stage as at summer’s Governor’s Ball. This year’s three-day party takes place June 3rd through the 5th, drawing more than 150,000 fans, the hottest acts in music today, as well as food from the trendiest chefs, food trucks, and restaurants in all five boroughs to little-known Randall’s Island (tucked between Manhattan, Queens, and The Bronx).

Tasty Chow, Cold Drinks, & Lawn Games
It wouldn’t be a summer music festival in the foodie capital of the world without plenty of mouthwatering offerings to nosh. City kitchens serving their most crave-worthy dishes in the past have included Luke’s Lobster, Momofuku Milk Bar, Kimchi Taco, Ramen Burger, and Habana Café. Of course, you can expect tons of craft beer from Brooklyn Brewery (among others), wine, and primo cocktails as well, along with plenty of games to entertain between sets.
