A lively Latin atmosphere.
At La Esquina, if you know the right people, you can get exclusive admittance into their secret underground restaurant. We’ve already said too much, so you’ll have to find the secret entrance on your own.
Known for their fresh ingredients and bold flavors, La Esquina was dubbed one of New York’s top Mexican restaurants for a reason. Try their light bites and sharable plates, along with a drink from their extensive margarita menu. Big fan of Patrón? Well, they serve up some of their margaritas in full-on Patrón bottles. Make sure to also bring home a jar of their homemade salsa (if it’s not already sold out when you get there). And, if you’re lucky, you might find yourself rubbing elbows with stars like Julia Roberts and George Clooney.
With two locations — one in lower Manhattan and one in Brooklyn — La Esquina’s unique atmosphere is complimented by its original artwork and live music. It’s a great setting to sit back, relax, and get in a dance or two.
Their lower Manhattan location is on Kenmare Street, between Lafayette and Centre, just east of SoHo. Their Brooklyn location is on Wythe Avenue, between Metropolitan and North 3rd Street.
